In the face of crises, corruption and extremism, liberal, democratic and progressive values are under attack like rarely before. Communicating and strengthening them and anchoring them in the community are essential if we want to create a future worth living.

Solon ist eine gemeinnützige Unternehmung, die in Städten und Gemeinden deutscher Metropol-regionen Bürger:innen zur Gestaltung einer lebenswerten Zukunft einlädt. Mit inspirierenden Veranstaltungs- und Dialogformaten sowie innovativen Beteiligungsmethoden arbeiten sie an ganz konkreten Zukunftslösungen, und stiften so Gemeinschaft. Zum 175. Jahrestag des Zusammen-tretens der Nationalversammlung in der Paulskirche fand am Frankfurter Mainufer ein großes Bürgerfest statt. In ihrem Zelt der Möglichkeiten führte Solon verschiedene Talk-Formate durch, in denen interessierte Bürger mit Politik, Verwaltung und Aktivisten zu aktuellen, lokalen wie globalen Themen ins Gespräch kommen konnten. Darüber hinaus gab es noch viele weitere Mitmachaktionen für groß und klein.
Solon is a non-profit company that invites citizens in cities and communities in German metropolitan regions to help shape a future worth living. With inspiring event and dialogue formats as well as innovative participation methods, they work on very concrete solutions for the future and thus create community. To mark the 175th anniversary of the meeting of the National Assembly in the Paulskirche, a large citizens' festival took place on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt. In the Tent of Opportunities, Solon held various talk formats in which interested citizens could talk to politicians, administration and activists about current, local and global issues. There were also many other hands-on activities for young and old.
